Questions we get asked
- How much rent can I charge?
- Start from the median rent recorded by the ONS for your borough and property size, then adjust for condition, furnishing and how quickly you need a tenant. Our estimate gives you that median range in seconds.
- How is the rent estimate calculated?
- We take the ONS private rents series for the borough covering your postal district, then scale it by the number of bedrooms using the published size factors. Houses carry a small uplift over flats.
- What does Seymont charge to let a property?
- Tenant find is 10% + VAT of the rent for the term. Fully managed is 12% + VAT. No hidden set-up fees.
- How quickly can you let my property?
- Well-priced London stock in good condition typically lets within two to three weeks of going live. We will tell you honestly at the appointment whether your asking rent is achievable.
